What is a food tour run by guilin food tours?
A Guilin Food Tours Food Tour introduces visitors to clean, delicious and licensed local restaurants, vendors and food stalls in Guilin City, China. During your food tour, you will be guided by one of our team members who will help you discover different flavors and tastes in Guilin. There are a variety of different types of food, flavors, aromas and beverages throughout the tour and everything is included. During the tour, you will also learn about traditional Chinese cuisine, local restaurants (for visiting afterwards!) and an introduction into the history of Guilin.
When Should I take a Guilin Food Tour during my visit?
If time permits, we'd strongly encourage you to book a food tour at the very start of the trip. The reason being is not only will our team introduce you to some delicious foods and restaurants but we can also give advice for other places to eat at too (which is not helpful if you are leaving the next day!).
Are Cameras and Videos allowed during the food tour?
Yes. Cameras and filming are allowed during the tour. We strongly encourage participants to take photos during the tour (and hope you will share them with your friends).
are Bathrooms available during the food tour?
Yes, there are a variety of different bathrooms at different stops during the food tour.
What happens if it rains?
The tours are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. We also provide ponchos in case of sudden weather changes or if you do not have your own umbrella. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately. In the case of severe storms all participants will be notified and can choose either a refund or a rain check.
Does the food tour start and end at the same place?
No, Guilin Food Tours do not finish at the same location as the meeting point. However, detailed instructions are provided after ticket purchase with starting and ending point locations.
How far Do we walk?
You will walk approximately 3 kilometers during the food tour.
Does the tour Guide accept gratuities?
Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory.
WILL I EAT ANYTHING EXOTIC ON THE FOOD TOUR?
We serve visitors a variety of different types of foods including some foods that could be considered exotic. All foods will be outlined to participants beforehand once the tour commences and if you don't want to eat something, please let us know. We do not serve any dog meat.
ARE THE PLACES WE WILL EAT AT CLEAN?
Yes, we not only personally inspect, taste, re-inspect and re-check all eateries we include in our food but we also ensure every place has licensed food certificate.
What if i have dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.
